That Dragon, Cancer, Ryan Green's memorial to his five-year-old son and to families with loved ones battling terminal illness, has been successfully funded on Kickstarter.
That Dragon, Cancer surpasses funding target on Kickstarter

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.
The game sought $85,000, and was backed with $104,491 in contributions as of Friday. It is a point-and-click adventure game, for Windows PC and Ouya. Players will unlock memories and hear the thoughts and dialogue of the Green family as they and their son, Joel, go through his ordeal.
Donors to That Dragon, Cancer will receive a high-resolution digital version of a poster now hanging in the nursery of Zoe, the family’s young daughter.
Joel Green died in March. That Dragon, Cancer was conceived as a game about hope, despite the inevitability of Joel's illness. Polygon had a hands-on preview with the game in November.
