Last night, Stephen Colbert, a self-described "original fan of Star Wars," took five minutes on The Colbert Report to "review" the newly released trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Not only did he crack wise on the individual images of the trailer, he also included an in-depth analysis of the new lightsaber.
Enthusiastically calling the new design a "menage a saber," Colbert brought out a series of hand-drawn charts showing off the weapon's "perfect design." It's nerd-Colbert at his finest.
