Venus Patrol founder and Indie Games Festival chairman Brandon Boyer put together a fantastic list of games you may have missed this year, but really need to play.
The best games you likely missed in 2014

Among the 20 titles are secret hits like the black-and-white adventure game Fjords, the creation of a second-grade teacher in Seattle; the vignette-fueled How Do You Do It; and, a fan favorite in my house: Samurai Gunn.
Hope on over to BoingBoing and check out these games that Boyer writes “challenged long-held ideas about what video games can be.”
