Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, launched in 2008, is returning this month as a digital download on PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. It will cost $19.99 when it hits the online store on Dec. 16.

The game will be a 30 GB download, pretty hefty but not the biggest thing on offer through PSN.
The fifth full installment in the Metal Gear Solid series, The Phantom Pain, is due to arrive sometime next year but has yet to receive a specific release date. Last week, The Game Awards, which air on Friday, said it would feature a premiere of a new Metal Gear Online.
