Winter Showdown features 8-bit graphics, three new vehicles, a new map and the ability to play in platoons of five with matches pitting two sets of platoons against one another. The new mode will also include an original battle arena and a new medal for “Operation Winter.”
Besides the look, which can’t help but remind some older gamers of Atari classic Combat, the game also has special ammo which can heal friendly tanks, and the ability to blast your way through the maze-like walls of the map.
The Winter Showdown hits North America, Europe and Asia on Jan. 26. Korea gets the mode on Jan. 15.
