According to a report from the Korea Herald this week, developers are “putting the finishing touches” on the massively multiplayer online role-playing game for PC. After four years of development, Black Desert’s release is nigh: It will arrive in Korea Dec. 17. But that doesn’t mean that the MMORPG is stuck in Asia.
“We are currently doing a lot of market research to launch the game overseas,” Daum Games CEO Sean Hong said.
“Of course, our priority right now is to successfully launch the game in Korea. As strategic partners, Daum Games and Pearl Abyss will work together to release the game in North America and Europe.”
To see more of Black Desert’s beauty, you can watch a video about character creation, another that flies over the game world and yet another that showcases its open-world player-versus-player combat.
