Hearthstone players can check out Goblins vs. Gnomes expansion cards right now

While the official release for Goblins vs. Gnomes, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft's first expansion pack, is still next week, players worldwide can hop into the game's Arena right now to take them for a test run.

All of the expansion pack cards are available to choose from in the Arena, according to a Blizzard press release. The game's spectator mode should also now be live.

"In addition, anyone who logs in to the game between December 4 and December 8 automatically gets their next new Arena run for free," according to Blizzard. "It's a zero-risk chance to see some of the new cards in action-with a high-risk chance of something going explosively awry. And if you're already in the middle of an epic Arena run that won't be finished before December 8, don't worry-just make sure to log in during the pre-launch period, and you'll be good to go."

Once the expansion hits on Dec. 8 in North America and Dec. 9 in Europe, Taiwan and China, players will be able to start permanently adding the new cards to their collection by buying packs, using dust or earning rewards in Arena,

The expansion pack will add 120 new cards to the digital card game. Make sure to check out our analysis of the first batch of revealed cards here and our look at a new Druid card here.
