Sony unveiled a new "fast-paced, highly addictive," top-down, competitive multiplayer action game called Kill Strain at PlayStation Experience today. The new game is coming to PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015.
Sony San Diego senior director of product development Christian Phillips said Kill Strain has been "built from the ground up" to be a free-to-play title that won't punish players, apparently in terms of restricting their progress with microtransactions or payments.
Phillips said that players' enemies can become their teammates in the action game and that Kill Strain features a five-versus-two-versus-five team structure.
Sony San Diego is accepting beta signups for Kill Strain at its website.
