Hyperdimension Neptunia and Record of Agarest War series developer Compile Heart revealed a teaser site today for the company's "new brand," a project called Makai Ichiban Kan — "Hell's Number One House."
The site features an image of the brand's logo as well as a message in Japanese that reads, "Creators with the best talent live in the Makai Mansion. They are now making a move to become the best in hell." Below the text is a teaser trailer, posted above, announcing Makai Ichiban Kan as a "new brand" and showing a group of strange creatures with pumpkins for bottom halves and wrapped in bandages.
More details on Makai Ichiban Kan will be revealed in the Feb. 13 issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine. Because it is being revealed in a Sony console-focused magazine, this suggests the title could be the in-development role-playing game being developed with Disgaea 4 director and lead programmer Masahiro Yamamoto for PlayStation Vita. The collaboration was announced last September and is slated to launch this year.
Two of Compile Heart's other titles, idol simulation game Hyperdimension Neptunia PP and strategy-focused card battler Monster Monpiece are slated to launch in the West later this year. The latter will be published with some of its more risqué parts censored.
