The third annual Game Developers Conference party from indie-focused gaming site Venus Patrol and indie game event coordinator Wild Rumpus will take place March 19, the two organizations announced today.

Presented by the Humble Bundle organization, That Venus Patrol & Wild Rumpus Party will begin at 7 p.m. at Public Works, an event space in San Francisco. The festivities will follow the presentation of the 2014 Independent Games Festival Awards and the 14th annual Game Developers Choice Awards.

The organizers aren't yet ready to announce the full lineup of musicians, games and developers that will appear at the party, but Venus Patrol founder Brandon Boyer said today, "The music acts, developers and games we've got confirmed are already super exciting, and the emails that keep popping in from around the world for things we're still working up are making me very, very happy."

Last year's party featured games such as Samurai Gunn and musicians behind titles like Sound Shapes, Dyad and Super Hexagon.

Early-bird tickets for the party are already sold out, but regular-price tickets are on sale for $20 at Eventbrite.
