$1M Call of Duty Championship down to 16 US teams

Activision's Call of Duty Championship with a $1 million prize pool is down to 16 U.S.-based teams, partner Major League Gaming announced today.

The following teams qualified for the next round and will face off in a double-elimination tournament in best-of-five matches March 8-9:

  • compLexity
  • Curse Las Vegas
  • Curse NY
  • Denial
  • eLevate
  • FaZe
  • Final Boss
  • JusTus Pro
  • Living The Dream
  • OpTic Gaming
  • Sigma
  • Strictly Business
  • Team EnVyUs
  • Team Kaliber
  • TVA

Viewers can tune in at MLG.tv for the U.S. Championship. Tickets for the Winter Park, Fl. event, which will take place at Full Sail University, are available in the MLG store.

The top eight U.S. teams will head to the Call of Duty Championship, which will be held March 28-30 in Los Angeles with 32 worldwide teams. That event will be streamed on MLG.tv and Xbox One.
