A listing recently appeared on the Xbox Games Store for Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition, the Armature Studios developed 2.5-D handheld side-story to Batman: Arkham Origins.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition appears on Xbox Games Store
The listing states that the Deluxe Edition “amplifies the 2.5-D game” with new maps, enemy encounters, difficulty levels, batsuits and enhanced visuals and will launch March 25. The side-scrolling adventure title offers a continuation of the the Arkham Origins storyline and features stealth gameplay as well as free-flow combat. It also allows players to choose their own progression through the game with interchangeable bosses.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate initially launched on Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita Oct. 25. For more about the companion game, read our review where we note that it is a successful distillation of the world and mechanics of the Arkham games.
