Total War: Rome 2 and Company of Heroes 2 players vie for free DLC

Sega announced today a promotion that pits Total War: Rome 2 players against Company of Heroes 2 players to see who can score the most points in a bid for five days of free downloadable content.

Until Feb. 17, Sega will track the number of in-game victories in both games, with each victory earning points that will count towards a total tally. The community with the most points as of Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. ET will earn their chosen game some brand-new DLC that will be free to download for five days.

Players can keep up-to-date with the tally here.

During the promotion, both games will be discounted on Steam by 50 percent.
