The third annual Boston Festival of Indie Games will take place on the MIT campus Sept. 13, organizers recently announced.
The festival, a "celebration of independent game development," debuted in 2012. Attendees have the opportunity to play video games and tabletop games while mingling with developers and fellow game enthusiasts. Boston FIG also features game jams, lectures and screenings.
The event will be held at MIT's Johnson Athletic Center in Cambridge.
More information, including registration and game submissions, will be announced in the spring. Last year's festival drew in more than 7,000 people with 80 digital and board games.
