Renegade Kid shares details on Moon Chronicles, Mudds and more

Developer Renegade Kid has a number of projects in the pipeline, including updates and a sequel to Mutant Mudds, multiplayer for Moon Chronicles and more, according to co-founder and director Jools Watsham's Ask.fm page.

Watsham revealed the studio is currently working on an update to the Nintendo 3DS version of Mutant Mudds that will add bonus content from the Mutant Mudds Deluxe version to the title. The update is currently planned for a March or April release, depending on Nintendo's approval. Mutant Mudds Deluxe is also slated to launch in Europe after the 3DS update in North America.

Renegade Kid is also planning to launch Mutant Mudds 2 along with first-person shooter Cult County in 2015. Cult County's initial mid-2014 launch window was pushed back so the studio can prioritize Moon Chronicles, which was announced last month.

"We put Cult County on hold while we focused on Moon Chronicles," Watsham wrote. "We have still been developing the story for Cult County, but development progress has slowed down. We'll have more news on Cult County soon."

As for 2D platformer Treasurenauts, which is slated to launch in Q1 2014, the game is planned for launch on Steam, with a 3DS version coming this summer. The title will also allow for two-player Download Play, which allows another player who doesn't own the game to participate with the game owner via a wireless connection. The title has also taken priority over Mutant Mudds 2, which Watsham told Polygon earlier this month has been put on the back burner for Treasurenauts.
