Deep Down trailer teases time-travelling tales of terror

A trailer released today for Deep Down, Capcom Online Games' upcoming procedurally generated role-playing game, offers glimpses at its monstrous enemies and time-bending story.

Enveloping shots of deformed horrors like fang-toothed treasure chests with spindly limbs and gigantic slugs with mouths full of canine teeth, four characters tell stories about time travel, truth, kidnapping and a mysterious, unnamed man with a plan.

Press play above for some visual clues about the game's story, which is set in New York in the year 2094. It begins with a portal that appears to link the present to the future and ends with an effect that shows how the two worlds are intertwined.
