Master Reboot delayed, now launching March 4

Master Reboot, the psychological horror game from Wales Interactive, will now launch March 4 on PlayStation 3 in the PlayStation Store, the studio announced today on the PlayStation Blog.

Wales Interactive originally planned to release Master Reboot on Feb. 19, but the day came and went without any sight of the game.

In Master Reboot, the player must explore the Sul Cloud — a server that stores people's souls and memories after they die — in order to figure out who they are and how they died. According to David Banner, managing director at Wales Interactive, the studio took inspiration from games like Day of the Tentacle and movies like Tron to craft Master Reboot's striking, minimalist visuals.

"Using elements of psychological horror, Master Reboot will not only present a new vision of life after death, but also bring fear and disturbing imagery into its digital world," said Banner.
