Indie film maker Michael Shanks (also known as YouTube user Timtimfed) created an alternate version of men's speed skating at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.
Dubbed the "Speed Skating Double Dash Final," the video introduces Mario Kart rules into the Olympic sport. Green shells and bananas are tactics frequently used by skaters, while Chain Chomps offer a boost of their own. Check out the video above to see the film in action.
