Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus rated for PlayStation Vita by ESRB

New, 6 comments

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus has been rated "E" for PlayStation Vita by the ESRB, suggesting that the PlayStation 3 game could make its way to handhelds.

The ESRB does not give specific information about the handheld, but lists it along with its primary platform, the PlayStation 3. This isn't the first mention of a Vita version; in December 2013, European ratings agency PEGI rated the game for PS Vita as well. We've contacted Insomniac to confirm the listing and will update accordingly.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault was ported from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation Vita in 2013. Prior to that, PlayStation 2 title Secret Agent Clank made its way onto PSP.

Into the Nexus was released for PlayStation 3 in November 2013. Speaking with Polygon last year, Insomniac Games creative director Brian Allgeier said that Into the Nexus would likely be the final entry in the series for the console. Like previous games, Into the Nexus mixes shooting, puzzle solving and platforming.
