Awesomenauts developer Ronimo Games is bringing the sequel to 2009's Swords and Soldiers to Wii U, a development it announced via a teaser trailer today.
Swords and Soldiers 2 promises an all-new, world-saving adventure for Redbeard and his fellow Vikings, but Ronimo provided little in the way of detail. The side-scrolling strategy game will be released as a downloadable game for Wii U.
The original Swords and Soldiers was released on Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, PlayStation Network, WiiWare and Windows PC.
Expect more information at next month's Game Developers Conference, where Ronimo plans to unveil the game. Swords and Soldiers 2 will then be publicly playable at PAX East in April.
