Seaven Studio's 2.5D puzzle-platformer, Ethan: Meteor Hunter, will launch for PlayStation Vita "very soon," the developer announced via its website.
Ethan: Meteor Hunter, a game "often described as 'when Super Meat Boy meets Braid,'" follows a rodent named Ethan after he's struck by a meteor. The accident leaves him with the power to freeze time and move objects. According to producer and co-founder Olivier Penot, the Vita's touch screen "just made sense with the telekinesia feature," which you can see below.
Ethan: Meteor Hunter will be available as a cross-buy product with the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita editions. According to Seaven, it will have a "definitive release date" once it's approved by Sony.
Seaven also announced that the Steam version, approved through Greenlight earlier this year, will be available Feb. 7. Ethan: Meteor Hunter was released for PlayStation 3 and Windows PC last year.
