Sony is investigating issues with the PlayStation Network Store and Network, according to an official PlayStation forum post, following reports on social networks and forums from PlayStation 4 users experiencing issues logging into the services.
"If you are currently experiencing issues accessing PSN or the Store, please try again later," the forum post reads. "Our engineers are currently investigating."
The official PlayStation Twitter account also stated that the company is aware that PS4 users are experiencing login issues and is "currently looking into it and will provide an update soon."
Some users reported login issues after installing the PS4's system software update 1.06 that went live this week. The update introduced the ability to mute the PlayStation Camera, support for wireless stereo headsets, along with general stability improvements.
Polygon reached out to Sony for more information about the cause and the extent of the login issues. We will update this post as more information comes to hand.
