The public beta for the Xbox 360 version of Warface is now available, developer Crytek announced today.
The free-to-play first-person shooter originally launched in October 2013 for Windows PC, with an Xbox 360 version expected to follow in early 2014. Starting today, players in select regions (United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Nordic region, Australia and New Zealand) will be able to jump into the Xbox 360 beta ahead of the game's full launch on the console this spring.
Warface is set in the near future and features four distinct player classes: rifleman, sniper, medic and engineer. The developer told Polygon back in October 2013 that despite the game being free-to-play, it is anything but a "casual" experience.
