Space Pirates and Zombies 2 will launch via Steam during Q4 of 2014, developer MinMax Games recently announced.
Like its predecessor, Space Pirates and Zombies 2 is an action strategy game in which players explore space, salvage items and build their own ships. The game will feature 200 captains capable of forming factions, controlling territory and more, as well as a galaxy that "will develop differently each game." All modular parts within the game are randomly generated to help players create unique ships.
Space Pirates and Zombies 2 will feature local split-screen co-op and multiplayer arena modes. For more on the game, watch its announcement trailer above.
Release platforms are not included on the Steam page, though system requirements suggest it will be available for Mac and Windows PC.
