Mad Catz launching Xbox One Tritton headsets this summer

Entertainment peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz Interactive will launch a line of licensed headsets for Xbox One under the Tritton brand, the company announced today.

The line of audio headsets is expected to start shipping this summer, according to a press statement.

"We're excited to announce our upcoming range of headsets for the Xbox One platform," Mad Catz president and CEO Darren Richardson said in a press statement. "Over 45 percent of our sales are derived from gaming headsets, and we believe the addition of Xbox One headsets will make a significant contribution to our return to growth and profitability in fiscal 2015."

Last June, Mad Catz revealed it was working on a Tournament Edition 2 FightStick for Xbox One branded with Double Helix Games' Killer Instinct. Later that summer, Mad Catz announced it would produce its upgradeable Force Feedback Racing Wheel exclusively for Xbox One.

Microsoft also released a headset adapter for the Xbox One earlier this year.
