Chroma Squad's new trailer shows turn-based super sentai action

Knights of Pen and Paper developer Behold Studios shared a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming title Chroma Squad, showcasing combat and the first released footage of the game's giant mechs.

In Chroma Squad players must manage an indie television studio trying to make an action program — casting, equipment purchases and crafting giant mechs and weapons out of glue and cardboard are all on the table. Players will control five warriors reminiscent of the Power Rangers in overdramatic turn-based battles as the cameras roll.

Chroma Squad will also be playable in the Indie Mega Booth at both the 2014 Game Developers Conference next week and PAX East in April. The title will launch for Linux, Mac and Windows PC later this year. The title is available for pre-order through its official website.
