The Blackwell Epiphany, the fifth and final episode in Wadjet Eye Games' point-and-click adventure game series, is now available for pre-order from the developer's website ahead of its April 24 launch on PC.
Those who pre-order the game for $14.99 will receive The Blackwell Epiphany as a DRM-free download along with a Steam key that can be redeemed at launch. Exclusive bonuses include video interviews with the voice actors, Rebecca Whittaker and Abe Goldfarb, who will reprise their roles as Blackwell and Mallone in the upcoming release.
The digital package includes a New York City video tour with series creator Dave Gilbert talking about the locations that inspired the Blackwell games, as well as the original soundtrack by Thomas Regin, who scored three previous Blackwell games. Players will also get a virtual invite to the Blackwell Epiphany launch party, streamed live, that will include a hangout Q&A session with the development team.
The Blackwell Epiphany will be the longest game in the series and will see the conclusion of the ongoing story featuring the two protagonists, the living Rosa Blackwell and ghost Joey Mallone. Players will be able to switch between the two characters throughout the game.
The first game in the series, The Blackwell Legacy, was released in 2008, with Blackwell Unbound, Blackwell Convergence and Blackwell Deception launching in the following years. The Blackwell Bundle consisting of all four games is available from Steam and GOG for $14.99.
