RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile is coming to iOS in early spring from developer On5 Games, publisher Atari announced today.
The mobile game will ship with 20 pre-designed roller coasters and new attractions. RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile will also include Facebook and Game Center support, allowing players to visit friends' theme parks and exchange coaster blueprints.
"We are thrilled to bring RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for the first time and allow players to experience the game in a new channel," said Fred Chesnais, Atari CEO. "RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile is a modern-age simulator with robust strategy gameplay and will also contain social features, leaderboards and achievements to provide a truly engaging experience."

In January 2013, Atari's U.S. arm filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. By May, the company planned to sell its assets individually and had pegged the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise's value at a minimum of $3.5 million. July reports revealed that Nordic Games acquired the Desperadoes and Sliver franchises while The Evergreen Group purchased Backyard Sports. In December, Judge James Peck of U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan approved a three-year recovery plan for the company.
Update: Along with RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, Atari is also producing a separate RollerCoaster Tycoon "PC experience" that is scheduled to be available this year, the publisher announced on Twitter. The most recent entry in the franchise on computers was RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, which was released in October 2004 on Mac and Windows PC.
