Typing of the Dead: Overkill gets musical with new Dancing with the Dead DLC

Sega released new downloadable content this week for its keyboard-centric zombie game Typing of the Dead, introducing a musical theme to its lexicon pack in the Dancing with the Dead DLC.

Dancing with the Dead replaces words and phrases with lyrics and sayings relating to music history. The music pack includes lines from Prince's "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World," Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy," and quotes from film producer Samuel Goldwyn like "Write music like Wagner, only louder." The downloadable pack is available for $2.99 on Steam for Windows PC.

The Typing of the Dead: Overkill launched for Windows PC through Steam in October. The title uses typing instruction to power first-person shooter mechanics and is based on Sega's zombie slaughter series, The House of the Dead. The main game includes nine stages and three difficulty levels.
