Trials Frontier races to iOS April 10, Android later

Trials Frontier, the first mobile entry in the Trials franchise, will be released April 10 on iOS, publisher Ubisoft announced today.

The free-to-play title is also coming to Android, although that version will be available "at a later date," according to a press release from Ubisoft.

Trials Frontier's name refers to its setting: It takes place after the fall of civilization, in a world where humans have gone back to living like they did just after the Neolithic Revolution — isolated from each other in small villages scattered across the globe. This new epoch of humanity comes after the crumbling of the futuristic society seen in Trials Fusion, which will be released April 16 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and April 24 on Windows PC. People can play and link both games in order to unlock bonus content in the form of rider gear.
