Half-Minute Hero 2 trailer teases localization release

The official Half Minute Hero Twitter account is teasing an impending Western localization release of Half-Minute Hero 2, the sequel to 2009's action role-playing game Half-Minute Hero for the PlayStation Portable, via an English language trailer.

The nine-minute long gameplay footage highlights the game's maps, map editor, Goddess Room, community and multiplayer battle modes. The trailer states teases that announcements for Western release are coming soon.

Developer Marvelous AQL gauged Western interest in a localization of Half-Minute Hero 2 last November, prompting fans to take a survey on the matter in a series of tweets. "Should Half-Minute Hero 2 come to the West? Let us know — and help spread the word!" the Half-Minute Hero official account tweeted at the time. Marvelous was going to determine what platforms the sequel will be published on once fan interest was gauged.

Half-Minute Hero players must complete each mission and eliminate all enemies within 30 seconds. An XBLA port of the original PSP version was released in 2011, followed by a PC launch via Steam late last year. Its sequel, titled Yusha 30 Second launched in Japan last August for PSP.
