Battlefield 4 Commander app gets visual tweaks, bug fixes

The Battlefield 4 Commander mobile app received an update today, bringing with it a number of bug fixes and stability improvements as well as a few visual tweaks to smooth out gameplay, according to a post on Battlelog.

The update brings better squad member visibility, allowing players to see names of other players and their kits when viewing a squad. Players can also now tell which players are talking through the app's VOIP chat function.

When issuing orders, the screen will now show the position of all squad members as players use the touchscreen to arrange the order, and squad assets can be dropped directly onto a squad list. Score accrued during an active XP boost will also be more clearly communicated. A number of chat and audio fixes have also been made, commanders can now more clearly see firing vehicles and visibility has been increased on several maps.

The Commander app is a second screen experience for Battlefield 4, allowing players to control their squads in the game on any platform using a tablet. The app is currently available for iOS and Android devices through the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
