The Game Developers Conference 2014 presentation for Sony's virtual reality headset, Project Morpheus, is now available online.
In the hour-long presentation, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida introduces the device and details some of its specs. The head mounted display current features 1080p resolution and provides users with a 90 degree field of view. The peripheral uses both the PlayStation Camera and PlayStation Move.
The black and white prototype was unveiled March 18 for the PlayStation 4. Sony is working on Project Morpheus' content, control, ease of use, sight, sound and tracking in order to make it marketable for mass production.
According to Yoshida, virtual reality is "the next innovation from PlayStation that will [shape] the future of games."
