In April, Sony will make six new games free to PlayStation Plus subscribers including Batman: Arkham City and Mercenary Kings, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog.
The new entrants to the PS Plus Instant Game Collection consist of one PlayStation 4 game, three PlayStation 3 titles and two PlayStation Vita games.
Tribute Games' Mercenary Kings just launched earlier this week on Mac and Windows PC, and when it is released on PS4 next Tuesday, April 1, it will be available free to PS Plus members.
The three free PS3 titles for April will be Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham City, one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2011; Curve Studios' stealth platformer Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark (2013); and Sega Studios Australia's Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (2013).
PS Vita-owning PS Plus subscribers will be able to download two well-regarded games for free: Q-Games' PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD, the PS Vita port of which was developed by Double Eleven, and FuturLab's Velocity Ultra.
