Alien: Isolation launches Oct. 7

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.
Set in the time of the 1979 thriller Alien, Alien: Isolation is a survival horror game in which a single, very large xenomorph hunts the player on a space station. The surroundings are deliberately “lo-fi sci-fi,” says Creative Assembly, and include no technology developed after 1979.
The announcement was made at a panel EGX Rezzed in Birmingham, England, which you may watch here. Alien: Isolation will launch on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
