Activision and Infinity Ward will host a free multiplayer weekend for Call of Duty: Ghosts this weekend on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, a first for the franchise on Xbox Live, according to the game's publisher.
Ghosts' free multiplayer weekend will kick off Friday, Mar. 7 at 1 p.m. ET and run through the following Monday. The demo will consist of three multiplayer maps, Strikezone, Warhawk and Prison Break; three competitive multiplayer modes, Search and Rescue, Domination and Team Deathmatch; and the cooperative Extinction mode, Point of Contact.
Call of Duty: Ghosts recently held another free weekend trial through Steam.
Since its launch in November, Activision has supported Call of Duty: Ghosts with a number of add-ons, including the Onslaught downloadable content pack and a host of cosmetic upgrades. Activision is planning a free trial of Onslaught through Xbox Live later this month.
