Battlefield's 4's Naval Strike add-on content is rolling out for Battlefield Premium members on Windows PC today, according to an update to the Battlefield Blog.
The DLC — the third pack planned for Battlefield 4 — launched on March 25 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360. Naval Strike on Xbox One and Windows PC were delayed for additional polish to rectify issues within each version. The Xbox One version had some animation issues that would hinder players using popular weapon configurations in combat, while the PC version was still receiving updates that could have possibly interfered with Naval Strike, causing poorer performance on mid-range and high-end hardware. Naval Strike launched on Xbox One on March 28.
Naval Strike adds four new seafaring maps, the new Carrier Assault mode — and homage to Battlefield 2142's Titan mode — and dynamic weather patterns, as well as the two-seater ACV hovercraft. Check out Polygon's hands-on preview of Naval Strike for more details.
