Peggle 2 hitting Xbox 360 on May 7

PopCap is bringing Peggle 2 to Xbox 360 on May 7, the developer announced this morning.

The peg-laden puzzle title initially launched in December as a timed Xbox One exclusive. The Xbox 360 version will be available in North America and Europe when it launches in May.

The Xbox 360 version of Peggle 2 will also include a multiplayer Duel Mode, allowing players to challenge each other in local or online competitive mode. Duel Mode is also available today for the Xbox One version of Peggle 2 as a free update.

"With all the excitement from our fans in December at launch we knew we wanted to continue growing the Peggle universe starting with more content and then expand onto the Xbox 360," PopCap Games general manager John Vechey said in a statement sent to press. "By offering the addition of Duel Mode, our fans will be able to challenge their friends continuously to find out who is the ultimate ‘Peggle Master'."
