Music videos arrive in Xbox Music app on Xbox One

The Xbox Music app on Xbox One now offers more than 92,000 music videos, Microsoft announced today on Xbox Wire.

Xbox Music users can play a single song, cue up a playlist or listen to an artist-based radio stream, and if the song that's playing has a music video associated with it, the video will automatically play in HD on the television.

Music videos have been available on Xbox 360 since the console's music app was called Zune Music; the app was rebranded to Xbox Music in October 2012, and the Zune branding was retired last year. Music videos aren't available in Xbox Music on any other platforms besides Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The service itself is also available in browsers and on Android, iOS, Windows 8 and Windows Phone.
