Dream Build Play winner One Finger Death Punch hits Steam

One Finger Death Punch, Silver Dollar Games' 2D kung-fu brawler, is now available on Windows PC via Steam.

The game originally launched on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel last June after winning Microsoft's Dream Build Play competition in 2012. One Finger Death Punch made it through Steam Greenlight last December. It's a fast-paced game in which the player uses two buttons to fend off attacks from oncoming enemies, with both hand-to-hand combat and weapons that can be thrown.

According to One Finger Death Punch's Steam listing, the PC version offers Steam achievements, leaderboards and partial support for an Xbox 360 controller. The game launched yesterday, and is available at a 20 percent discount — $3.99 instead of $4.99 — during its launch week. For more, check out the trailer below.
