Goat Simulator heads to Steam April 1

Goat Simulator, Coffee Stain Studios' game jam entry-turned full title, will be available for Steam on April 1, the developer revealed as part of a FAQ on its site.

Announced for Steam last month, the game will allow players to run amok as a goat. Goat Simulator was created to be "small and silly," and players will be able to edit their own levels with Steam Workshop. The game will not include multiplayer options.

"With multiplayer, we'd have to remove 90 percent of the physics, all destructible objects and a lot of our favorite features," the FAQ reads.

Goat Simulator is currently available for pre-order for $9.99. The game is being developed exclusively for Windows PC. Although there are no plans for Linux or Mac editions at this time, ports could be added later with enough requests from players.
