Sniper Elite 3 launches June 27 on PC, July 1 on consoles

Sniper Elite 3, the sniping-focused World War II shooter from Rebellion Developments, will be available July 1 digitally and at retail on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, publisher 505 Games announced today.

The Windows PC version of Sniper Elite 3, which Rebellion is self-publishing, will launch June 27.

Sniper Elite 3 costs $49.99 on PS4 and Xbox One, and $39.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360. A Collector's Edition is also available for $69.99 on PS4 and Xbox One. The package comes in a tin case resembling an ammunition box and includes three exclusive DLC packs with skins and weapons; playing cards; a Sniper Elite 3-branded target for a shooting range; a dog tag; a dossier; and a bullet-shaped laser pointer.

All pre-order customers will receive access to "Hunt the Grey Wolf," a bonus mission set in Tobruk, Libya, in 1942. In "Hunt the Grey Wolf," the player must infiltrate Tobruk and attempt to tell the difference between Adolf Hitler and his doppelgänger so they can take down Hitler. The city of Tobruk is an open environment, and according to 505 Games, each play-through of the mission will be different because the identities and locations of targets are randomized.
