Nintendo will release two Mario Kart 8 bundles in the U.K. featuring a copy of the game and physical Mario-themed goodies, the company announced this morning.

The Standard Edition bundle, which includes the game as well as a Bullet Bill shirt and Mario Kart-themed keychain, costs £49.99, while the Limited Edition featuring all of the above and a blue Spiny Shell statue costs £59.99. The bundles will launch alongside Mario Kart 8 in the U.K. on May 30.

Pre-orders for the bundles are now open through the Nintendo U.K. Online Store and participating retailers, and those who have already pre-ordered a standalone copy of Mario Kart 8 have the opportunity to upgrade to a Limited Edition.

Nintendo will also release 1992 SNES title Super Mario Kart for the Wii U Virtual Console on March 27. The title will be downloadable through the Wii U eShop. Players who also purchase Mario Kart 8 through the eShop before June 30 can get Super Mario at a discount for £5.49.

We've reached out to Nintendo to ask if these editions will also be available in North America. Currently the company's website and those of various retailers do not list any special editions. Mario Kart 8 will launch in Japan on May 29, North America and Europe on May 30 and in Australia the following day.
