Mugen Souls Z heading to North America May 20

Mugen Souls Z, Compile Heart's sequel to Mugen Souls, will be available in North America May 20 for PlayStation 3, Gematsu reports.

Mugen Souls Z was announced for a Japanese launch in 2012. The role-playing game begins directly after its predecessor; it follows the "Undisputed God of the Universe," Chou-Chou and the goddess Syrma. As Syrma, players will attempt to stop a reawakened, ancient threat.

A special edition of the game, which includes an artbook, poster, collector's box and keychain, is available on NIS America's online store for $69.99. The standard edition is priced at $49.99.

Turn-based RPG Mugen Souls was released for PlayStation 3 in 2012. Players took control of Chou-Chou in an effort to conquer seven worlds.
