An update for Infamous: Second Son is currently in the works featuring a handful of additions and bug fixes based on player feedback, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog by Sucker Punch Productions co-founder and producer Brian Fleming.
The in-development update will allow players to select the time of day from the options menu after beating the game for the first time. According to Fleming, this addition was a popular fan request. Players will also be able to turn the HUD on and off, something Fleming notes will be useful for players looking to take high-quality screenshots.
Additionally, players will be able to cap the game at 30 frames per second.
"Internally we prefer the unlocked frame rate, but we recognize that some players find it distressing," Fleming wrote. "So we'll provide a way to ensure the game is not bumping up over 30FPS, if that's how you prefer to play."
According to Fleming, the patch will be available at the earliest in two weeks. Until then, check out Polygon's review of Infamous: Second Son for more details on the PlayStation 4 title.
