Microsoft shared a new video today featuring newly-appointed head of Xbox Phil Spencer, his second interview with Xbox's Larry Hryb since stepping up.
In the video above, Spencer discusses his 26 years with Microsoft, which began as a software development intern and is now leading the charge for the Xbox console. Spencer also discusses his hand in working on games including Fable and Rise of Nations, what his most memorable moments working with the company are and his vision for the Xbox One moving forward.
"Fundamentally, this is a company that wants to do things that change the world," Spencer says. "And they have the resource and the ambition to do that, whether that's with Xbox or any of the projects that we build.
"We have the ambition to build the best gaming console for fans," he adds. "The gaming console that plays the best games, that has the best entertainment, and to be in a company that has, again, the resource, the ambition and the drive to go make that happen, it's incredibly motivating to someone like me."
Check out the Hryb's previous interview with Spencer, in which he drops some hints about Microsoft's plans for E3.
Late last month, Microsoft announced Spencer would be taking over the Xbox division from previous head Marc Whitten, who stepped down in mid-March after 14 years with the company to join consumer electronics company Sonos.
