The next Magic: The Gathering card battle game, Magic 2015 — Duels of the Planeswalkers, will launch this summer, developer Wizards of the Coast announced today.
The title will launch for Android, iOS, Kindle, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game's tagline, "Hunt Bigger Game," is in reference to its plot; the character Garruk Wildspeaker, a major figure in the lore of Magic, will be hunting the player as his prey. The 2015 installment of Duels of the Planeswalkers will also feature an updated deck builder and the ability to build customized card decks, along with additional premium booster packs.
Magic 2015 — Duels of the Planeswalkers will be playable this weekend at PAX East in Boston, April 11-13. Those who play the game at the Magic: The Gathering booth will also have the chance to earn a Garruk Wildspeaker "Pinny Arcade" pin. Polygon will be in attendance covering the show.
