Tecmo Koei looking at Windows PC options

Tecmo Koei's recent combat adventure Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z was one of the company's rare forays into Windows PC gaming. But the Japanese firm could be looking to expand its presence away from consoles and handhelds.

A new update on Tecmo Koei's Facebook page invites followers to speak up about their interest in Windows PC games. "How many of you are a PC gamer here?" asks the update, which has so far attracted over 300 comments.

Although Yaiba Ninja Gaiden, reviewed earlier this week by Polygon, was released for Windows PC and consoles, last year's Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate was released for consoles only.
