Nuclear Throne, the latest work from indie studio Vlambeer, has added local cooperative play for two players in the latest update, according to the game's page on Steam.
Vlambeer's Rami Ismail specified that co-op play is not supported online.
"This last week, the entire team worked super-hard and long nights to make co-op a reality," he wrote on Nuclear Throne's Steam page, "and in the next weeks we'll be focusing on improving both single- and multiplayer support."
Nuclear Throne is a "roguelike-like" game, in Vlambeer's own words, in which mutants battle for supremacy in a post-apocalyptic world. Ismail and Vlambeer co-founder Jan Willem Nijman streamed development of the game live over Twitch.
