Tales of Xillia 2 will arrive Aug. 19 for PlayStation 3, Bandai Namco announced today.
The role-playing game was announced last July and follows the adventures of two new protagonists, Ludger Kresnik and Elle Marta. A $129.99 Collector's Edition will be available and include Tales of Xillia 2, a Ludger figure, a replica of Elle's pocket watch, a Rollo plush charm, a CD with music from the game and an art book. Purchasers will also receive downloadable content with costumes from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World's Emil Castagnier, Tales of Graces' Asbel Lhant and Tales of Vesperia's Yuri Lowell.
Set a year after the first game, players with save game files from Tales of Xillia will receive bonus items in the sequel. You can check out a pair of trailers — one that hints at a time-altering choice and another that details a derailed train ride — to see Tales of Xillia 2 in action.
